My Voice Experience

My first voice over was in 2003 for Digimation Technologies, LLC. I read 22 paragraphs for an instruction on how to use digital business cards.

I had another opportunity when I wrote and performed a commercial that aired on the Whereveradio website. This recording was done in my house, converted from wav to mp3, and emailed to the radio station. It's purpose was to inform listeners of the date and time of a particular episode of the Wherever DJ Project.

My voice appeared at the beginning of a music CD produced by Kelly Trance, a club DJ originating in Oklahoma. In this clip, I introduced her by name, with a slight British accent.

My most recent job was for Noodlestream, LLC. I read over 50 paragraphs for two instructional flash videos on sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace. This was done on location in their studio in December of 2007.

My Training

I would love to take instruction on how to better my voice talent. I have not had any formal training in this area, however. My only training has been my experience.

Additional Skills

I have excellent grammar skills. If there is a grammatical error in the script, I will find it. I have found errors for other clients for which they were grateful.

On several occasions, I have been able to read and record paragraphs in one take.

I have excellent listening skills that have allowed me to learn accents. Give me a little time and I can learn a new accent by listening and practicing. I am great with phonetics.
