Anchor / Board-op
I served as a fill-in anchor for news, traffic, and DJ positions. I operated two radio boards from the studio while DJs were broadcasting live from remote locations. I set up and took down broadcast equipment. I used Media Touch and Cool Edit Pro software. Screened callers.

I was an intern assistant to David Muir (who is now on World News with Charles Gibson), which involved writing scripts for the “New Technologies” series that aired on the 11 o’clock newscast in Syracuse. Other duties involved accompanying reporters on fieldwork, scanning the wires, collecting press releases from various organizations and making beat calls to the local authorities.
