My Voice Experience
I've turned to my passion after years of recommendations in various customer service positions, phone conversations, and everyday interactions. I'm a fledgling in the voice acting business, but versed in the day to day dialogue between human beings and the power of the voice. Showcased without visual stimulation or enhanced by it, the voice is a powerful tool, and satisfies the intrinsic need for human interaction.
I provided the voice over in an award-winning commercial for Firefox, the free web browser.
My Training
Development of my voice came in two primary forms; singing and customer service. Singing requires, among other things, breathing control, articulation, expression, and even acting. Each song you perform brings you intimately closer to the flexibility of your voice, and the impact of the slightest change in breathing, or enunciation. Customer service requires some of the same,engaging the customer, selling first your capabilities and then your empathy to the situation. Through each interaction I have learned vocal control, and improved my personal effectiveness while providing a positive sensory experience for the target listener.
