Voice Description

My voice is clear and earnest. I think my voice is best-suited to business-neutral, but I also have a good low register, so I can do sultry and/or sexy. I can range up to a medium-high female voice. I also have a good girl-next-door sound, and teenage girl to young woman to adult woman sound. I also have a good child's voice, and can play with my voice quite a bit. I have a decent singing voice, too, and could probably sing many types of jingles for ads. Furthermore, I am also very good at whistling, so I can whistle for recordings, if that is ever needed.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I was raised with a neutral North American accent. I can also do an upper-midwest accent, southern, and British. I can also play with my voice and do English with an Indian accent, German accent, and possibly others depending on need. I can be silly with my voice and could probably do a variety of impersonations and/or characters with my voice if needed. I had a minor in Spanish in college, and know how to properly pronounce Spanish language text. I don't get very much practice, so I am rusty, but if needed, I could improve this area very quickly and read scripts in Spanish.

My Training

I have been a coach, teacher, and leader for years, so I have been using my voice for communicating ideas and concepts to groups in-person. I also have public singing experience in performance choirs in high school and college, so I know about voice projection, diction, and making words sound as good and clear as possible.

My Studio Equipment

I do not have a studio but I have a 2009 MacBook Pro with GarageBand. I have made several vocal recordings on it which I transferred to mp3 or aac file, and they sound professional and high-quality. If needed, I can go to a studio in one of several radio stations in town, or at the University here locally.

Additional Skills

I have a variety of experiences in a number of different areas. My primary area of experience, expertise, and education is in fitness, exercise, health, nutrition, and sports. I also have knowledge and experience in law, business, recreation, and the Spanish language and culture. As a lay-person, I have a lot of experience and interest in technology and gadgets, especially as technology relates to the world of fitness and exercise, and I am interested in genealogy. I am able to do visual voice-over acting, where I actually appear. I am a fairly attractive 5'7", brunette, white, young woman.
