My Voice Experience
While attenting Recording Arts of Canada in 2003-2004 I was in the audio engineering program. As a student all of our prjects that included voice had to be done amounst ourselves. SO I have used my voice on my own and fellow students projects. They include a radio coffee and pizza commercial. Radio concert promotion, a cartoon character in the movie "A Bug's Life", and reading a text where we had to take my voice and do text editing.
Graduated from The Montreal Radio and Television school in 2008. I have voice training in doing spots, talk radio, music logs, sports, entertainment and news updates.
My Training
I learned about voice overs in school while I attended Recording Arts of Canada in 2003-2004. Reading the text for an excercise of text editing we had to do, thought me a bit on how to pronounce my words correctly and how to use the mic to manipulate my voice. When recording my voice for the cartoon I had to learn to that the emotion I saw on the video, I had to bring out in my voice. All of these recordings were done in the school's sound booths.
Graduated from The Montreal Radio and Television school in 2008. I have voice training in doing spots, talk radio, music logs, sports, entertainment and news updates.
My Studio Equipment
If I have to do voice over recordings I'm able to go back to the Montreal Radio and Television school. They have studios set up like a real radio station would be. They work with adobe and use a board.
Additional Skills
As I know how to caprture voice and what to do with it after. I feel it would be easy to work with me since I would have some knowledge in how things work. I have never done any voice over work professionally but am excited to get into it. I'm a creative type of person and this is just one way I would like to showcase this talent.
