My voice..... is pleasant with a warm southern quality. At times my accent will come out with a twang, but I tend to control my voice to where I can eliminate the accent or draw it out. I am professional, yet I can be bubbly and fun or sexy and sophisticated

My Voice Experience

Although I'm new to recording my voice, I've had many experiences using my voice. I have be involved in public speaking and drama performances since 1996. I have been many different characters and have been able to use my voice to express my character's emotions to an audience with great satisfaction. I competed in Oral Interpretation in High School where I had to be many different characters and my voice and body movements were the only way to distinguish the character's, since you were not allowed to move your feet. I did well at dramatic and humorous interpretations.

My Training

Through out my classes and summer drama camps we focused on working our diaphram, expressing emotions, writing character journals, and expanding our abilities. I also played the trumpet in the High School jazz band. During my speech classes we learned about the power of pausing and emphasising during a speech.
