Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Can learn any dialect on request, have performed in Standard British, Cockney, Northern Irish, American Southern (spec. New Orleans, Northern Louisiana, Georgia, Texan). Can apply speech modifications, e.g. lisp, rasp, and large range of pitch. Prior experience in rap, can apply rhythm changes and rap to voice over.

My Voice Experience

Performed extensively as a character actor and singer in the theatre, including a world premiere musical with Tony winner Cleavant Derricks, developed characters as a writer and stand-up comedian, wrote and developed much of the copy for my voice over demos. Spent time in the booth recording as a singer, storytelling experience as a child and growing up.

My Training

BFA in acting from USC, On-Camera, Commercial Acting training and Uta Hagen training, Linklater Voice training, Voice Over training in Los Angeles and New York City (at Edge Studio - seminars, private coaching, etc.), further Voice Over training with Linda Weaver and Nina Pratt in NYC, Singing Voice training in Los Angeles and New York City. Represented by Arcieri and Associates for Voice Over.

Additional Skills

I have worked in education with kids of all ages and kids with special needs and coached gymnastics for the Special Olympics. I am a Pilates Instructor and have worked extensively in the fitness industry. I can record complex math and science concepts, e.g. calculus, I understand how to use voice over to teach, know how to communicate to kids of all ages and needs, and can translate what I know about kids into characterization of kids voices. I have worked independently as an actor in different mediums, love collaboration and take direction well.
