My Voice Experience

I have been passionate about voice over for many years. It started all the way back in High School when I did the voice over for a tutorial on a CD-ROM program about tiles. Yes, I said tiles. It was a home design program and I spent a great deal of time working with the creator to get all the "click help" vocals exactly how he wanted it. Since that day most of my vocal talents have been lent to the musical theater world but I am always eager to help people on their projects.

My Training

I have a wide range of knowledge about voice. I studied for a short period of time as a Vocal Performance major at Cal State Northridge where I graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts which included many classes involving Linklater and other techniques to release your voice and use it to the fullest potential. I have studied with Dolores Diehl for commercial and animation, Roger Scott for Commercial, and Bob Joles for Video Games. I also continually perform in musicals and study voice with Jake Anthony.

My Studio Equipment

In my own home I am currently using the program Audacity and using an M-Audio Session Producer USB Microphone.

Additional Skills

I have a great respect for the voice over world and my time spent as an actor, singer and stage manager have helped me have a huge love of all the things that happen behind the scenes to make something sound just right and work in harmony with the project at hand. I have also worked in non-arts related jobs that have helped me to have a calm and professional demeanor. I am reliable individual and can manage my time accordingly.
