I started in radio broadcasting ten years ago.
I've been all over the country with this job.
My favorite aspects have always been psa's, and commercial reads.
When I was still in Radio School I was asked to voice spots for a commercial radio station.

If you've heard the syndicated program "Delilah" I've been told by many listeners that I sound very much like her during my regular shows.

During High School, I was very involved with the music and theatre programs, I have a very solid understanding of acting and conveying emotion. With my musical training I also have a tight grasp on timing and pacing, that is a very important skill to have in this industry.
I knew I was going to be in Radio from the time I was eleven years old, so I geared my interests and training toward that career path.

I am a mother to a 10 month old baby girl. Being a Mom has it's own complex set of skills. I feel those new skills can be applied to my voice work. I can relate to other women or people that have families.
Speaking of family, I am a sister.
I have 2 older and 2 younger sister's ranging in age from 22-34. My Mother is a nurse, she is currently fighting terminal brain cancer. It's emotional.
My Father has Type 2 diabetes and it has taken it's toll on our whole family. I am a survivor of sexual, mental and physical abuse.
Basically, I am a person with my own complications, and experiences. I am a person that many can relate to. I try to keep a positive outlook on life, with great friends, a great husband and a beautiful baby girl.
I've worked very hard for 15 years to be where I am today. Voicing is not an easy job, but I make it look that way. I strive for perfection.
I work retail to subsidize my income, specifically I work at a building supply store in sales and service.
