My Voice Experience

Parody childrens' story: Terry the Turtle. Read as a warm, rich storyteller voice with complete sincerity about a turtle that falls in love with a bike helmet. (In the style of the "North Americal House Hippo" Concerned Childrens' Advertisers commercials.)

My Training

Classical (singing) vocal training: control over tone, power, and sound; aids in both singing and speaking.

Previous workshop: Kids on Camera. Learned about various vocal (and non-vocal) techniques used in commercials and on television.

University classes in theatre: units were devoted to the use of sound and voice to achieve certain effects in the listener/audience.
