Voice Description
With an authentic style known to win trust quickly; I have a warm, believable, folksy, reassuring, yet authoritative style. One audio book reviewer described it as a "smooth therapist's voice".
Although I can sound like a friendly and expressive mid-westerner, my natural accent is subtly southern and is well suited for anything requiring a folksy storytelling style. I have been typed as "The Poor Man's Wilford Brimley".
My Philosophy: "Being in the moment" with both the writer and the listener begins with understanding the message of every line and making it "mine". I have a commitment to make the message the author desires to communicate one the listener wants to hear.
