Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
American Midwest with ease, Swabian dialect because it was my mother's mother tongue, clear High German and currently experimenting with Lower Bavarian dialects.
My Voice Experience
The majority of my experience has been acquired via my own podcast and videocast for Mevio, a labor of love that interesting me in pursuing this path. The topics discussed ranged from politics to food to cleaning, but the ultimate focus revolved around sensuality.
My Training
I have a visual communications degree which involved video work, rhetoric classes and verbal presentations. Many years experience with a joint podcast, later videocast, with my sister for Mevio. Years of experience as an interpreter for a east asian movement technique specialist who also gave me intensive voice training.
My Studio Equipment
I have equipment for basic audio at home and easy access to two independent studios.
Additional Skills
I practice an East Asian movement technique that greatly increases breathing stamina and volume as well as yoga, dance and a range of other sports. I am interested in all things promoting health and "good aging." I have lived in Germany for over twenty years and in addition to having my own visual communications company, have worked as an interpreter and translator. I love language in general, and English and German in particular. I am a passionate reader of various types of literature and non-fiction and love theater, films and classical music.
