My Voice Experience

My voiceover work has been centred around production of soundbites and reports for the online radio station that ran alongside the website I was employed by for some five years

My Training

Graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, UK with a degree in Journalism - having specialised in Online Journalism in the final year of my degree. Radio work was covered earlier in my course.

Part of my first role in Journalism included recording radio interviews and editing those interviews prior to them being sent to a studio to be added into radio packages.

There were also pre-recorded and live radio reports as well as some voiceover work, while I have also done radio interviews with a range of local radio stations.

My Studio Equipment

I currently have access to a Marantz PMD660 Digital Media Recorder, which I use alongside a Behringer XM8500 Microphone

Additional Skills

With five years of experience as a journalist working in the motorsport field, I have become used to quickly putting together audio content - from editing files in Cool Edit Pro prior to submission to writing scripts ready for reports to go to air.
