Voice Description

Hailing from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and living in York from Seven till 18, my voice is as close to a generic Northern English accent as is possible. I am able to neutralise this accent further if required, all they way to RP, and also perform in certain accents. I can deliver Warm and Friendly performances for all requirements, as well as characterful and distinct readings of several different characters per production. I also deliver a intelligent and believable performance when working to inform the audience, e.g. Commercials or Presentations.

My Voice Experience

Having recently graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, most of my experience has been as part of the radio classes. This included recording: a monologue, a short play, a audio book and poetry, all using top of the range audio equipment. Before my studies at Mountview, I attended a Radio production week where we all worked both in front of and behind the mic, so I have witnessed first hand how much hard work goes into such productions
