Voice Description

I have a pretty typical midwest male voice. I'm from the Chicago area, but don't have that "Da Bears" sound. I can however do lots of voices like Da Bears guy as well as many impersonations(ie Borat, Chris Farley, Tony Soprano, David Letterman, Tom Brokaw). I have a comedy background both in stand up as well as Second City training.

My Voice Experience

I've been doing voices, impressions, and goofy characters since my days as a college DJ in New Jersey! I pick up others vocal mannerisms pretty quick. When I interned at NBC News in New York for Tom Brokaw I became obsessed with his booming anchorman voice and soon began imitating him. I've done lots of "call ins" to Chicago radio shows as Tony Soprano or Brokaw to name a few. I've also done some corporate voice over work for McDonalds as of all people David Letterman!! Another one of my many heroes.

My Training

I'll be honest, I don't have a ton of experience as a "Voice Over". But as said previously I have spent many hours coming up with my funny voices and characters. I guess my training came from my college radio days as well as some small time stations I worked at just out of school. At Second City they teach you the importance of character study and with that comes voice characterization.
