I am somewhat conversant in German, although by no means am I fluent. It's also been a while since I've spoken it. I can do some dialects like a southern accent as well as a Boston/New York style of enunciation and can do some vocal impressions, although I'd like to think that the low, deep timbre of my voice is my best selling point.

My Voice Experience

Loads of experience in the radio broadcasting field, including stints as a morning show host (6 years), disc jockey and voiceover talent for commercials. Eventually I became creative and production director which had me being the radio voice for the station.

I have written and co-voiced a Radio-Mercury Award-winning ad in the radio station-produced category.

I've done voicemail greetings, voiceover acting, on hold messages, radio voices, on-air traffic reporting for both TV and radio and weather forecasting. I have a podcast bundle set up at my residence and do freelance voiceovers for friends and other agencies. Currently I'm doing weekend forecasts for the Radio Forecast Network, where I'm heard on about 30 stations each weekend from coast to coast.

My Training

I have a bachelor's degree in English and have extensive community and professional theatre experience from college and beyond. As mentioned above, I have plenty of radio voiceover experience as well as freelance voiceover experience. Having a parent who is hard of hearing helped me to project my voice without abusing it or shouting too much.

My Studio Equipment

I use an Alesis Multimix 8 USB interface and CoolEdit Pro, with an Audio-technica microphone, all hooked up to my PC with USB cables. I have the ability to e-mail .mp3 or .wav files with ease to any e-mail address or FTP site for larger files. In the near future I am looking to upgrade my computer and will be able to add music beds/sound effects for in-home radio production when necessary.

Additional Skills

I can provide a quick turnaround time for any type of voiceover work or voiceover job from my home studio. I am currently seeking a voiceover agent to boost my career to a higher level. I am an excellent public speaker, have a good work ethic and am eager to start working on whatever projects you might feel match my skills!
