My Voice Experience

I'm a radio broadcaster (having worked in the southeast and soutwest of England), voiceover artist, MC and narrator. I have recorded anything from phone answering system messages, adverts, jingles, promos and spoken books. I have done instore radio work (pre recorded & live) and been an internet radio announcer. I currently present the daily breakfast show on Gemini FM in Exeter ("Matt" & charlie in the morning).

My Training

I'm a BBC trained journalist who currently works in the commercial radio industry. I had voice coaching sessions when I started off in the industry, teaching me about controlling my breathing, posture and delivery. This is a skill I still practice to this day. I've sat in on lectures from Dan O'Day and numerous other international braodcasters.

Additional Skills

I'm as comfortable in a studio as I am presenting to 30,000 people at a firework display. I write and record daily promos for the radio show, comedy sketches & character voices. I have worked previously in the motor trade, been a sales rep, a draughtsman, waiter, mobile phone salesman etc.
