Voice Description
I have a very versitile voice. It's strong, full, and deep. I have a very wide range, and can do all types of voices.
You want something silly, I can be silly...you want something soothing, I can be soothing. Whatever you're looking for, I am up for the task.
Accents are not my strong point, but I haven't had much experience doing them.

My Voice Experience
Ever since my voice changed, all I've heard is how great my voice is. Kind of crazy really, because I wanted to work in radio since I was a kid, before the voice changed. Now I do.
I used to do fake radio shows as a kid....I'm sure my mother has copies of them somehere.....
Although getting in front of people, at least for speeches or presentations aren't my favorite thing in the world, I was always good at them, because I speak well and people like to hear me. Now doing drama I liked...I liked playing a character, and being somebody else.
So now that I'm in radio, my voice has been used for promos and commercials. It's not my full time job, unfortunately, but I enjoy it when the opportunity is there. I feel doing it has helped me become good at it.
A friend of mine started an internet sports site for High School sports in Northern Kentucky. I became his billboard voice guy. Deep, rough, and in your face...good stuff.
My Training
To me, voice over is a lot like being an actor....and actor doesn't recite his or her lines, they present them.
A voice talent doesn't read a script, the present a script, they sell a script. That is the key. It's not always easy, but once I figured it out, that light bulb went off in the head.
Besides acting, doing a radio show in college helped, along with speech classes, and my telecommunications classes that led to my degree in broadcasting.
