Voice Description

I have a large range of delivery styles and vocal capabilities. Tone, pitch, rhythm, accent, speech impediments, you name it. I am good at impersonations. Not only can I imitate, I can also create unique characterizations; either out of my own imagination, or based on specific requests from a client. Though characters are my specialty, I am more than capable of doing calm, professional, sarcastic, announcer, voice of God, and just about anything else you could possibly need. Another few things I can do that may or may not be relevant: sing, rap, naturally pitch-shift, and create sound effects.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Characterizations: Chipmunks to Dr. Claw (from Inspector Gadget) and almost any pitch between. A few more that come to mind: nerds, monsters, children, elderly men and women, stupid cronies, southern gentlemen, valley girls, surfer dudes, lunatics, cowboys, aliens, robots, badasses, cowards, announcers, sexual soul singers, and much more.

Accents/dialects: Australian, British, Southern, New England, New York, Canadian, French, German, Russian, Cockney English, Indian, Asian, Irish, Scottish, Italian, Californian, Mexican, and more.

I can combine just about any character voice with any accent, and even alter the voice further by adding lisps, rasp, shakiness, etc. I can also sing and rap in almost any of these voices.

My Voice Experience

I have no professional voice acting experience. But I have been voice acting every single day of my life since I was a young child. Imitating my favorite cartoon characters and making up my own voices has always been a passion of mine. Not just a passion, but a staple in my personality. Everybody I meet knows I do voices because I end up doing voices for everyone I meet. Consciously or not, professionally or not, capitalizing on it or not, I always have been and always will be a voice actor. I do not rest on my laurels, however. I am eternally seeking to strengthen my repertoire, and I think working professionally as a voice actor will help me realize my full potential. So employ me!

My Training

I'm a 2008 graduate of CSB School of Broadcasting in Arlington, VA. I earned several accolades including Highest GPA, and Top Student in Radio Performance, Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, and Perfect Attendance. I have also attended a Narration Workshop taught by CSB speech instructor and voice over artist, Mike Heid.

My Studio Equipment

I have a home production studio with a great quality vocal microphone (an Electro-Voice N/D767a) and multiple production programs including Pro Tools and Cubase 4.

Additional Skills

I am knowledgeable in many facets of Radio and Television broadcasting thanks to my training at the CSB School of Broadcasting. I am fully capable of writing, producing, and voicing virtually many kinds of radio spots (though I specialize in comedy). I'm familiar with Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Cubase, and AcidPro and can quickly familiarize myself with any other audio editing program. I can edit video with Final Cut Pro and AVID and I am currently teaching myself how to animate with Adobe Flash. I am also very adept at writing. I can write commercials, imagers, PSAs, news spots, and anything else you could possibly need.
