My Voice Experience
I'm a veteran podcaster and voice artist best known in that space for dramatic readings of my own work and the works of others. At Podiobooks website, my podiobook "Brave Men Run" has been rated five out of five stars for the quality of the narration. I've done voice work and dramatic reading for the Parsec Award-winning anthology fiction podcast Variant Frequencies. I've recorded audio versions of short stories by Hugo and Nebula Award-winning authors like Tim Pratt, Mike Resnick, Cordwainer Smith and others that are available on short fiction markets like Escape Pod and on Audible website.
Here are links to some shows that have featured my work, with listener comments:
"Impossible Dreams" by Tim Pratt (Escape Pod)
Listener comments:
"Selznick's reading added another powerful layer to that story and brought the protagonist's emotional turmoil into full relief."
"My favorite Escape Pod story yetand greatly because of the reading. I hope Steve hires that guy again! He was one of the best you've had."
"Matt's delivery was incredible."
"I felt the reading was equally as fluid as the story, and contributed greatly to the atmosphere."
"Old Tricks" by Matt Wallace and D.M Moehrle (Variant Frequencies)
Listener comments:
"I'm leaning towards Selznick as the reigning champ this go round. He just nailed it."
"I don't think I've ever heard Matthew Wayne Selznick do the bad-boy thing before, but I loved him in this."
"The Boy Who Yelled Dragon" by Mike Resnick (Escape Pod)
Listener comments:
"This is one of the few narrators of any pod fiction that had no distracting qualities."
"...the reading was excellent, I'd be happy to hear more from this reader, he did an excellent job."
