My Voice Experience

I have recorded one job---the part of Lt. Charles Ryan in "Voices Of A Never Ending Dawn"produced and directed by Pamela Peak of Pamela Peak Productions. It was a documentary voice over describing a certain battle in World War I. Ryan is a real macho man and is describing his combat experience. He's trying to hold his emotion but it gets the better of him and he breaks down. It required a lot of acting and I enjoyed and nailed it.

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration(Economics) from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. I completed speech classes in the course work for this degree.
I have been attending voice over workshops for a year now in Southern California. There I learned it's all about the delivery. Nice to have the pipes, but if you can't bring the copy to life , you are dead.
I have been rading scripture once a month and singing on a weekly basis at my local church for about 15 years now. This has prepared me in performing under pressure.

My Studio Equipment

At the present time-- i can e-mail mp3 files from my home computer, I have pc recording software to record the copy.
The studio i have access to has ISDN snd phone patch capabilities.

Additional Skills

As I mentioned before--being involved in vocal media at my church has really helped when it comes to voice over.

I have also worked in retail and food service and have had a lot of experience training subordinates and coworkers which would be helpful in training media.
