My Voice Experience

I have a great passion for voice overs. I've been really lucky to have recorded a wide range of work over the last 12 years. Everything from straight narration to documentaries to TV and radio commercials to infomercials to training films to viral recordings to childrens storybooks.......
But the biggest thrill for me was having the privilege of working with 3 of the original Dr. Who's, Colin Baker; Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy on recorded stories for Big Finish productions in London. In these I played a diverse range of characters including an Ice Lord in 'Red Dawn'.
One of my goals is to perform in radio drama.

My Training

I attended the Mountview Theatre School in London where I learned about radio technique.
I attended a voice over and radio technique class at the Actors Centre in London with the late Bernard Shaw.
I worked in London with the founder of the famous Rhubarb voice over agency. He gave me tips about producing a good demo reel.

My Studio Equipment

I have a studio studio in my house with a laptop and an AT2020 USB Cardioid Condenser Microphone with mic stand.
I have audacity downloaded to edit and produce my own MP3's.

Additional Skills

I've been an actor now for 22 years with a strong background in theater; Shakespeare, Chekov, Ibsen etc etc.
I've been a professional voice artist now for 12 years, working in all aspects of voice overs.
I am ex Royal Navy. On board ship my task was to act as the chief communicator between the Operations room and the aft end of the ship during action stations.
I have been involved in tele marketing, recently working as a fundraiser. My voice helped to raise money for Hilary; Obama; Greenpeace; Unicef; Planned parenthood amongst many others.
