Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

High-pitched "Elmo" voice, Low "Popeye" voice, identical "Bugs Bunny" voice, "Cookie Monster", "Mario", "Gollum" from "Lord of the Rings", "Scooby Doo", and various baby voices. "Pig squealing" for screamo music.
Great at making people laugh through voice impressions.

Spanish/Mexican- imagine two gang members talking or common Mexican dialect.

British accent for any given situation. Best at emotional context.

Irish accent- similar to "The Boondock Saints"

My Voice Experience

I have done voice-overs for my freinds band. I did some pig squealing for the intro. Although I lack experience, I am talented. Many of my cousin's who have heard various voice impressions have recommeneded me to try this for a career. Many have said I would be perfect for many Pixar productions. I am most interested in doing animated entertainment; however, I will take any position and see where it leads.

I have had no training in this field. I have viewed numerous movies and TV shows and discovered I could impersonate incredibly well. The one time I recorded, my friends band received a record deal: "Realm of Refuge".

My Training

I am in college studying Pharmaceutical Sales. As I said, I don't have much experience; however, I am a hard worker and very quick learner. I was in the symphonic band in middle and high school (Bass Clarinet & Clarinet).

I am very familiar with computers and can edit video as well as sound tracks.

As for classes relating to this field, I have taken: journalism I & II; Sociology 101 & 201; English 111; Psychology 101, 201, 204.

I have watched countless hours of movies, tv, and music learning to impersonate the voices from numerous shows. I discover new voices I can duplicate every day.

My Studio Equipment

Although I do not have my own studio, a good friend of mine is a licensed DJ and has all the necessary equipment needed for this career. I am currently learning much about audio engineering from him and another friend.

Additional Skills

I was a youth soccer coach in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At times the players would become upset or injured. I would use my voices to take their mind off of the current situation so they could be distracted momentarily and regain focus.

I volunteer at the Boys and Girls club, many of the kids always ask me to do my "Elmo" voice. Whenever I see a baby crying in public, I ask the parents if they are comfortable with me doing child entertainment voices so they will settle down. I have been allowed to do so on many occasions. After so many parents of children, family members, and other people telling me to try voice overs, I finally gained the courage to give it a shot.
