Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Accents and dialects have been a specialty of mine in theater. I'm known for many and for my ability to learn new ones easily upon listening to them.

Some of these include: Russian, English (various American as well as various UK, Scottish, Irish, etc.), French, German, Canadian, Indian, Australian.

Impersonations include Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear, Jim Morrison (I am in a tribute band of The Doors), many cartoon characters (Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Spongebob, Squidward, just to name a few), Kevin McDonald, and more (just ask and I can probably learn it).

My Voice Experience

I've been involved with theater, film and music for seven years but I've only recently discovered this site through my theater community.

My Training

Seven years experience in acting and three years singing in local area. Education and training has come through criticism and personal training through friends and actors I've known. Singing and vocal training has come from Bob Harris (he's worked with Frank Zappa and is the current singer and keyboardist of the rock band AXE).

My Studio Equipment

I have a cardioid condenser mic with shock mount and pop screen, mixers, compression/EQ/de-esser equipment, and interfaces to allow recording to Logic Pro.

Additional Skills

My voice is pretty much what I use for my work. As an actor and singer it is my primary instrument, second to my body. Without my voice I wouldn't be entertaining or get the gigs that I have. I'm known through the Boulder, CO area for my dialects, accents, wide singing range, and overall vocal ability. I've been told I need to get into voice-over work and I hope this site can help me break into that field.
