Voice Description

I have a fairly versatile voice that can be professionalized for presentations and training sessions, or sexed up and sultrified for other types of projects. I can do expressive reading for narrations.
My voice has been described as clear, warm, sexy, sultry, thoughtful. I can also sound like Shirley Bassey ("Goldfinger"), Ethel Merman, Marge Simpson and Apu from The Simpsons, Beavis and Butt-Head (both!), the Wicked Witch of the West, and Edith Bunker of All in the Family!
I can do very believable and authentic Southern, French, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), and British accents when speaking in English.
I am told that when speaking in Spanish, I have a Castilian Spanish accent, and when speaking in French, I have a Parisian accent.
When using my normal speaking voice, people have a hard time telling where I'm from.

My Voice Experience

I am actually a professional translator (linguist) with an ear for languages and sounds who sings non-professionally in her spare time.
I admit freely that I have no voice-over experience whatsoever as of yet, but I have been told many times over the years that I could be a voice talent, so I've decided to start looking for opportunities to try my hand at voice-over work.
