My Voice Experience
The first voice/diction class I took in 1978 got me hooked. Since then I have been intrigued by voice, vocal production, linguistics, word derivation and accents. My working years were in retail and customer service where how something is said is as important as what is being said. My mothering years were spent home schooling two daughters. I insisted upon proper diction and grammar at all times. Now that I am entering the second career stage of my life, I find that I am well equipped to produce voice overs with clarity and skill.
My Training
I have been involved in regional theater from childhood. I have acted and coached/directed voice for both actors and singers. I have taught diction, speech and acting for community recreation programs. I have directed and sung in church choirs.
My Studio Equipment
My home studio includes a dry sound booth, an audio-technica AT2035 cardioid condenser microphone and M-audio Fast Track with pro tools M-powered software. I also have a fine producer in house.
Additional Skills
I am always home so I can offer the fastest turn around time.
