Voice Description

I have a Big Voice with an Edge suitable for Commercial work, Narrations, Movie Trailers, Audiobooks, Professional Training, and Promo work. My money voice has been called a cross between Jack Webb and James Earl Jones, although my actual range extends beyond the seven downloadable demos available on this website. Romancing the words and connecting with the listener are my best traits. I'm authoritative and compelling, and yet comforting and compassionate. My Voice Experience

I've been a freelance voice actor since 1998. My client list includes:The Ford Motor Co.,Eastman Kodak,The Buffalo Sabres,The National Football League,Blue Cross Blue Shield,CART Racing,Keystone Health,Owens-Corning,Fisher-Price Toys,Freestar Bank,General Electric,Raytheon Corp.,The Seneca Nation of Indians,The Specialty Hospital of Washington D.C.,Roper St.Francis Hospitals-South Carolina,Bioness,Inc.and Sea TV Network, among others. I've done a lot of corporate narrative work used in-house as well as for broadcast. I've also acted in several independent films from 2002-2005, the latest of which (Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead - directed by Lloyd Kaufmann for Troma Films) screened at the Cannes Film Festival in France in May 2007 and in Hollywood between June 13th and June 27th 2008. I'm also on voicebank(website) and I can be found on the Internet Movie database.

My Training

Born in Hawaii, raised and schooled in Texas, I was a member of The Voice Actor's Workshop of Western New York from 1998 to 2007 before relocating to the Los Angeles area. This workshop was taught by a noted Los Angeles voice actor, who relocated back to Buffalo. I'm also a singer/songwriter/musician, my main instruments being piano, organ and synthesizer. I've been involved in music since age 6, and have been playing professionally since age 11. I attended The University of Texas at El Paso from 1967-1971, majoring in music theory and composition. I was named Top Keyboardist at the Buffalo Backstage Music Awards in 1982 & 1983. I've released three rock music albums from 1982-86 in the USA on Panther Records and on ATCO Records and, in Canada, on Flying Fist Records and on Warner Bros.Records. My music career has given me tremendous insight into my acting career.
