Voice Description

Male 38yr old wide ranging british voice BUT...can ACCURATELY portray any UK , Irish , Australian,South african, European, Asian and even US accent. Pitch ranging down to and slightly beyond (an accurate) Buz lightyear up to a demented squeeky mouse. Can do dogs, sheep, cows, camels, bears, perfect cat purrs, squirrels,crows,wood pidgeonsowls etc.
Human(and cartoon) voices include Tigger, Kipper(uk-Martin Clunes), Bob the builder(uk-Neil Morrisey),Mufasa(lion king disney),Ewen McGreggor and Sir Alec Guiness (both OB1's),Mrs Doubtfire,Thomas the Tank Engine(Ringo Star in uk).
Basil Fawlty(John Cleese) Manuel(Andrew Sacs)plus all the fake Python female voices done by Palin and Idle and a number of original voices.
Can also hold notes for an annoyingly long time and do many voices from the Blackadder series(Rowan Atkinson) and Little Britain.

My Voice Experience

Born into an Irish family living in the uk and continuosly picking up and discarding new accents throughout my childhood as my fathers railway job moved from town to town.
my first voiceover was in a phone box in Ireland where I played an eighty year old homeless Yorkshire man to the Irish Samaritans at the age of thirteen. My cousin held the tape recorder while my sob story bruoght the samaritan girl to the point of tears and us to the point of wetting ourselves whilst suppressing our own tears - of laughter.
my brummie(birmingham)hippie got the loudest ovation in the college play and 21 years of raising four of my own children has had me constantly providing new characters and media inspired voices keeping them constantly entertained.

My Training

though keen in drama my talents were left untapped by the english educational system (bar an A grade in my english oral 'o' level exam and the odd school/ college play). spent my early teens writing rock songs and playing vocals in most bands using my accents to bring variation to my voals-(there's nothing worse than a singer whose vocals sound exactly the same on every song). Hours and hours of watching and listening ,as a father,to disney videos and kids tv has become a continuous training ground.
I originaly trained in nursing and social care but nerve damage has shortened my nursing days , thruoghout my career everyone who has heard my voices has told me to "do something" with it.So now I am.

lots of uk nursing experiance especially in the fields of strokes,dementia, physical and mental handicaps. Expert understanding of ancient irish and british pre saxon history also jewish and christian prophetic history. Currently doing a BA Hons degree in Childhood and Youth Studies in my spare time(of which I have lots).
