My Training
Martin Perks originally strived to be a computer game designer, enrolling on an AVCE in Information Communication Technology. However a chance encounter with an acting workshop ignited Martin’s true passion.
Following the completion of his AVCE in ICT, Martin went on to study a BTEC National in Performing Arts at Hyde Chlyaradon Sixth Form College. Then Martin completed a HND in Performing Arts with Essex University as the Southeast Essex College.
At this point Martin had decided to link two of his favourite subjects together, Anime and computer games, and acting. Martin is now actively seeking roles in animation and game voice acting.
This hasn’t deterred Martin from working in live performance, staring in many public performances through his respective college and university. These works include Edward Bond’s “Saved”, Samuel Becket’s “Ohio Impromptu”, as well as group devised pieces and physical theatre productions.

Additional Skills
Martin’s inquisitive and creative nature also drives him to explore other creative avenues, such as video editing, writing, and drawing. He is mainly inspired by Japanese culture and has a keen interest is all aspects of Japanese life. His biggest inspirational charges come from Anime/Manga and Japanese music.
This however doesn’t stop him from exploring other cultural and artistic points of interest but provides a colourful pallet for him to draw inspiration from.
Martin also has the following skills at his disposal. Provisional Driving License, CBT Driving license, Snow Skiing, Ice Skating, Computing, Multimedia and Website Design, Drawing, Creative writing, Karate Red Belt, IT Skills
