For business presentations or documentaries, I am experienced at smooth, serious tones. For audio books, I feel the emotion of the characters in a text and bring them to life. In voice mail greetings or onhold messages, I can be the girl next door. Being from Virginia, having lived in Texas, but spending most of my adult life in California, my voice will have a universal sound, with just a hint of southern charm.

My Voice Experience

I have worked as a teacher and pastor, where I learned to hold people's attention through story telling and to make calm, poised professional presentations to large audiences. I am now working as a counselor, where I have learned to listen deeply to hear and understand people's stories, accurately reflecting back their emotions. During my doctoral research, I found that retelling Biblical stories from the perspective of the women in the stories was very healing for women.
