My Voice Experience
I have worked as a professional musician and vocalist for nearly twenty-five years, singing in varied genres of music, including: Jazz, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Reggae, Rock, Disco, Pop and Hip-Hop.
My Training
During my undergraduate studies at Chicago State University, I was priviliged to understudy Herb "The Cool Gent" Kent, a renowned Chicago radio disc-jockey, from whom I learned a lot of tricks of the trade; radio voices, voice over recordings, voice acting, public service announcements, newcasts, musical program studio work and many other aspects of narrative voice overs. Later, during my final internship at Media Process Group, a video processing company based in Chicago which does projects for a host of prestigious clients, I worked on field audio recording and cameraman projects for Oprah Winfrey, University of Chicago, Children's Memorial Hospital, University of Illinois and a variety of other clients. I also have experience as a co-host on a Blues radio show which aired in Israel.
