Voice Description
Warm, clear and professional-sounding radio voice that commands attention. Comments from clients in that I need to be doing voiceover work. I'm told that I sound like Dan Akroyd. Dialects include Midwestern USA, basic Southern Drawl and Appalacian sound, East Coast, midwestern Canadian (eh?), Lake Erie area (Cleveland, Detroit, Buffalo), Pittsburgh (native), British middle class and some Cockney. Voices include Art Fern (Johnny Carson's Tea Time Movie character), Ted Baxter, Porky Pig's "that's all, folks", can improvise a little of Mel Blanc's voices (Sylvester, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Tweety is a stretch). Can do many old school voices. If I can't do it, I'll tell you as much!

My Voice Experience
Current on-air talent at suburban Pittsburgh radio station since 2000 (part-time). I have worked airshfts as a disc jockey, worked as a newsman and talk-show host, and as part of the job recorded commercials as part of staff rotation for station clients. Previous experience doing same in the late 70's, and again in the mid 80's in small market and suburban radio stations in the Pittsburgh area.
16 years taking inbound calls as a customer service representative where my voice is often mistaken for a recording. Listen to the demo, then contact me; let's see what we can work out!
