Voice Description

I am from, grew up and was educated in Oxford, England, though I currently live in Dallas, TX. My voice would probably be consider 'normal' to 'well educated' English, without being too 'plumby'.

That being said, I can certainly and easily affect a 'posh' accent, as well as something more colloqiual and working class, i.e. cockney, scouse, brummie, etc.

Having only recorded one project previously, albeit a rather lengthy, challenging and detailed one, it's difficult for me to say exactly what sort of work my voice would be most appropriate for?

I am extremely versitile, have some experience of amature dramatics, I'm well educated and have an extensive vocabulary, I pay attention to detail, and I'm used in a professioanl capacity to my projects being goal-orientated and time sensitve.

I have a healthy and varied sense of humor and comic timing, which I think would lend it's self especially well to projects with a fun, comedic or even sarcastic vibe.

Finally, I think it's important to note that although I have demonstrated my ability to produce high quality voice work, I am a newer face in the the business. I approach this work with a highly enthusiatic and FRESH attitude! If you want a voice that's different from the run-of-the-mill, is energetic and is not the same old, same old, I'm your man!

My Voice Experience

I was approached rather out-of-the-blue by the Marketing Manager at the largest Audi dealership in Colorado Springs to do some voice work for their next vehicle launch campaign.

Rather than having each sales person remember a script covering all of the Q7's features and have to regurgitate that every test drive, they wanted something compelling and fun that would consistently cover those details, thereby freeing their sales people up to engage more personally with the cistomers during the test drive.

Under my voice recordings you can hear what they came up with. As you can tell from the language the script writer choose, this was quite the challenging exercise!
