My Training

My training started in radio while still a junior in high school. It continued through 2 years of college in Durant, OK where we took the college station to a whole new level of rock and attitude.
I also leaned heavily on drama classes and community theatre throughout my career.
I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work with some of the most creative and inovative individuals in the radio industry. I was a program director for Clear Channel properties in Ft. Smith which opened many door to consultants and coaches of true genius.
My copy writting skills have been honed through brainstorming sessions with some of the top talent in the industry. What that means is that I have a unique way interpreting
creative copy and delivering the right read for the part.

I have been the anchor for the local MDA telethon, the talent for the St. Jude Radiothon, the onsite talent for the US Marine Corp Reserves Toys for Tots program (which required we stay up for over 48 hours). I have been the on camera talent for major grocery store grand openings and the creator of many promos for cherity events all over the river valley.
