Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can modulate my voice in language English in the north American accent, Metropolitan British accent, European French Accent for English language. If I could be given a span of 2 days to concentrate & learn a dialect to produce a specific type of voice, accent, or output, I can modulate my voice as per needs.

My Voice Experience

Previously I recorded 2 commercials in 2004 for an American E-Book publication house; unfortunately I wasn’t given any certificate of having done the job. I also recorded American Accent Training modules for a call center in Bangalore – SITEL INDIA, which had several projects from US based companies. I may not have a wide experience but if I am given a chance I would certainly give best results which would suit the best interest of the client.

My Training

I participated in a 6 weeks workshop on voice over and voice culture in Pune India. I participated in a 2 months workshop in Bangalore India on Voice modulation patterns - breath control, pitch variation, volume control etc.

Additional Skills

i have also worked in the call center industry, in the Training and development department for 6 years. My work span was making modules on voice modulation, speech control and speech music, Accent variation - nurturing the trainees to unlearn wrong pronunciation, adapt to neutral or receptive pronunciation pattern & advancing to understanding & actively listening to the foreign accent. In this course of time, I could also garner vast knowledge in understand the different dialects of different Anglophone countries also the colloquialism, the variation of accent within one country e.g. difference between Texan Accent Californian Accent, thus utilizing different phoneme charts for different regions.
