My Voice Experience
I currently work at Clear Channel Communications in San Francisco as a traffic reporter and news anchor on KKSF, KISQ, KNEW and KKGN. I have also done traffic anchoring on other Bay Area radio stations like KCBS, KSAN, KNBR, K101 and KSJO. As part of the traffic/news report, I voice a 15-second commercial. Some companies that I've read copy for include McDonald's, JC Penney and Subway. I've also voiced stand alone commercials and promos that aired on many of those stations.
My Training
I am a San Jose State graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and TV Broadcasting, and an Advertising minor. I've also taken voice over classes at Voice One in San Francisco and I'm very comfortable around computers with an A+ Certification in computer repair.
My Studio Equipment
My home recording equipment includes a Heil PR30 Microphone fed through the Shure X2u adapter for Adobe Audition.
Additional Skills
I've done some sports reporting and play-by-play, so I'm very comfortable with that genre. As a traffic reporter, not much is scripted...with that background, I have a very good ability to adlib. In addtion, I'm very coachable.
