My Voice Experience

Since making his start in radio in 1989 at the ripe age of 15, Mark has held a wide variety of part-time stints in music and news-talk radio. He has experience in CHR, Country, AC, Contemporary Christian, News, and Talk, and also is an experienced play-by-play announcer. While in college, he began performing voiceovers for an educational and industrial video company. In 1999-2000 he was the afternoon drive host on top-rated KFGO-AM in Fargo, ND. Most recently he hosted Saturday afternoons on contemporary Christian WAVA in Washington, D.C.

My Training

A stage actor since the age of seven, Mark began working in radio as a sophomore in high school. It was at KOVC in tiny Valley City, ND, that he learned his craft, producing commercial voice overs in addition to live on-air work. He was later professionally trained by the Creative Voice Development Group, headquartered in Schenectady, NY. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications with a broadcast journalism concentration.
