Voice Description
I'm a civil trial attorney by training. I have been involved in public announcing for as long as I can remember because my voice, not quite bass, is a deep, rich baritone that carries without effort. Naturally, I courtesy emcee events and cover PA needs for my kids' sporting events. Nary a day goes by without someone with whom I have just encountered inquiring as to whether I am on the radio; as my natural tone, diction and elocution is very much like that of a newscaster or radio announcer. Obviously this is complimented by my day to day appearance in courtroom settings. Generally I am most comfortable with a warm, deep narration style, although it need not be scripted; Requirements for an extemporaneous, interactive delivery are equally welcome.

I'm a one trick pony in this area. I have a generally unidentifiable accent with no significant, identifying patois' that might reveal that I am a native Floridian. Although some say that I "blend" into "local speak" like a light switch, it is not consciously done.

I do have personal equipment for use in conjunction with my legal practice as I make significant use of voice to text resources necessitating certain equipment and programs that enable conversion. Specifically, use of Olympus DSS Plus speech conversion technology relating to of dss/wma file conversion to .wav for transcription of digitally recorded speech. As such I have a better than rudimentary noise suppression microphone(s) and a working awareness of analog to digital and digital to analog file conversion issues.
