After being honoured by the BBC to be an applicant for the Carleton Hobbs award Mark pursued his radio work whilst in training at the accredited Oxford School of Drama, becoming involved with recordings of Herons by Simon Stephens and ‘Winnie the Pooh’ with David Benedictus. He went on to win the first Alan Bates Award for outstanding newcomer, which opened up a whole new avenue of Voice Over work and training allowing the recording of his professional demo. Since, Mark has performed ‘Mayfly’ for London Radio in association with The Old Vic Theatre.
