I have a very versatile voice that can adapt to almost any situation. An authoritative British accent with a deep baritone that can also be young and excitable. English is my first language but I also speak French and German.
Within the English language I am able to mimic almost all UK regional accents and feel that my voice is best suited for commercials, company presentations and book narrations although my varied comedy and cartoon voices have been used all around the world.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Different accents have always been my forte, even as a child. I can mimic almost any UK regional accent along with foreign accents.
From the UK I can do West Country, Cockney, Brummie, Welsh, Scouse, Yorkshire, Geordie, Scots and Northern Irish along with Irish, French German, Italian, Greek and Dutch. Mostly these are comedy voices but they have also been used in radio and internet commercials.

My Voice Experience

I have been a radio broadcaster for 20 years and also presented over 20 TV shows for the Discovery Channel which naturally included many voice-over sequences. I am a reporter for Sky Sports TV and have narrated audio books (The Life & Times of Freddie Mercury and The Smoke Stops Here) and voiced many commercials for both radio and TV including The Wallbangers US TV campaign and Courts Stores in the Caribbean. Other clients include the British Secret Service, William Hill Betting and Chelsea Football Club plus I am the voice of CivCity4 Computer Game which was released in 2006. I have also voiced cartoons for films and computer games and have a wide range of comedy voices in my repertoire. I am also a stand-up comic with acting experience so my versatility is second to none.

My Training

I did teach radio presentation to students at Lambeth College in London and each year give a talk to Southampton University students on presentation techniques.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own recording studio with ISDN and Adobe editing equipment. I can deliver audio as a wav/mp3 file either via e-mail or CD.

Additional Skills

I work for one of the larger radio stations in the UK and have also worked at 2 of the UK's National Commercial stations (Virgin Radio & Talksport). As a stand-up comic I have the confidence and authority to be able to project my voice and keep an audience interested.
I have also acted on stage which I think is a talent that all voice over artists should have and I have written and presented two 10 part TV series for the Discovery Channel on Britain's Railways.
