My Voice Experience

I have consistently been told that I have a very pleasant, deep voice by people I've come cross in marketing and telemarketing. I've done stand-up comedy as well, and audience members also tell me frequently after the show that they really like my voice. There's no other reason I would think that voice work is right for me! There have just been to many suggestions from strangers that I do this.

My Training

In the Marines I quickly learned how to use my voice to get people's attention! I often taught classes and I have experience in public speaking through the military, in college courses, and through my stand-up comedy performances. I have no "formal" voice training, but in my marketing/telemarketing jobs, I learned the way to use my voice to match the presentation at hand.

Additional Skills

I am due to attain my bachelor's in English/English education in May 2008, and my academic career has made me quite familiar with the English language and its delivery. In addition to my marketing experience, stand-up comedy, and military experience, college has helped me hone the skill of verbal communication to the point that I feel confident pursuing a career in it.
