Voice Description
For narration: articulate, warm, nuanced, dramatic when necessary.
Spots: can cop various attitudes---hyper, relaxed, confused, hesitant, overconfident.
I also feel confident doing an "Beatlish" English accent, a swaggering New Yorker, a dumbbell cowboy and a grizzled old cowpoke. I've also done several high-pitched, "kid friendly," Sesame Street type voices for kids material, websites, etc.

My Voice Experience
34 years of diverse radio and TV spot production....22 years of diverse freelance voiceover, including on-camera (but I don't sound that old!) I've done overstimulated car dealer reads to support groups for grieving families and literally everything in between. I was PA announcer for Michigan State football for several years, made a vo appearance on PBS's Nova, numerous TV, Radio & now, web, productions.
My Training
Mostly through my radio & TV career in Boston and Lansing, Michigan, which began in the 70's and voiceover, which began in the 80's. No formal training and nothing academic to brag about. My experience has been strictly hands-on and direct. I always felt I was an above-average mimic, who was blessed with a nice, versatile voice, which led to radio, TV, etc.
