My Voice Experience
I've been in radio since I came in the world! I've been imitating people for as long as I can remember and it gave me the ability that I have today. I can do several different types of voices and I can learn even more given the opportunity to listen to someone. I currently work for WRHI Radio in Rock Hill, SC where I produce and voice commercials and promos, but my primary on-air duties are for high school football and basketball play-by-play. I absolutely adore my radio voice! I have also been a public address announcer at my alma mater Winthrop University, for volleyball and soccer matches. Ultimately I have honed my voice talent to do voiceovers at the best of my abilities. I also will begin a stint with ISP Sports this fall as a network Studio Host for college football and basketball.
My Training
I graduated from Winthrop University in 2002 with a degree in Mass Communications. I did my own imaging for our student radio station as well as serving as the host of my own show. I took a few speech classes to learn more about the voice and I have studied different American dialects such as Black American, Midwestern, Northeast, and especially Southern. But the thing that has helped me develop my voice the most was something that I have done for several years; reading magazines and newspapers out loud. There is nothing that helps in the development of the voice than using this simple tactic. I've also recorded messages on hold, voice mail greetings, and voiceover jobs for hip hop albums.

Additional Skills
I am well trained in production and I have an extensive production library at my disposal. I also have phenomenal production equipment that includes Adobe Audition so it is very possible to have an entire commercial done with the expertise that a production manager of a radio station could bring to the table.
