My Voice Experience

I was born in Roma on January 5th. From the very beginning of my life I have shown my passion for music and for all that is around it. The perfect pitch foments this passion of mine and it helps me to recognise even the multi- frequency of cell phones. The blindness from my birth also gave me a more developed hearing than in other people who can see.
The passion for the radio was born with “CantaTu”: I had the second model, the one that allowed the user to turn down the volume of the boards with a cursor while keeping up the volume of the microphone. Every day I had a lot to do zapping through the ether here in Roma, until I found Radio In 101…I first performed a live broadcast there when I was only 11.
I kept on using that CantaTu until I destroyed it, and later I discovered the web radio. I founded one and managed it with other people, than I left and maybe in the future I will collaborate with them again, even if for short periods.
After the web radio I started working for my first fm Radio Antenna Febea. The ex director there, Nello Surace, assigned a chart to me, every Sunday night at 9 pm. It lasted some months, than I started with another programme, “Crazy together”, in the morning.
From there, a lot of other programmes on new radios came one after the other, a bunch of commercials, jingles, station IDs and important works for cinemas, sky ecc.

My Studio Equipment

The instruments I need are a few: the most important is, of course, my voice, bad or good it may be, which is part of me. The others are in my home studio, a little recording studio where I record most of my works.
For the resumption of voice I have a Rode NT1000, a microphone with polar response and a large golden membrane that is very good for the frontal resumption.
The microphone pre-amp/ compressor is a Dbx286a directly connected to my sound card M-Audio delta1010LT, for a direct recording on the PC.
The mixer is a little behringer, and I use it to listen to the output audio with very good headphones, AKG K240. the computer, which is the heart of my little studio, is an athlon 3200 with a 3 gb ram, a 120gb hard disk and a 500gb sata2 hard disk for the specimens I use with the motif 6 classic, a Yamaha keyboard that is a master and a full-blown synth.
This is the description of my studio, and what you can hear in the section “audio” is the result.
I’m at your beck and call for the recording and the editing of spots, documentaries, cd roms, radio programs, answering service even at the week-end. Additional Skills

I can speak a perfect italian, but also various accents like roman, sicilian, toscan and others. My voice is used for numerous local productions, but I've recorded also for Swatch, Castrol and other local national companies
