Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
When i was young i started impersonating characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Shaggy, Scooby Doo, Popeye in their Spanish Latin Voices. When i started in radio i studied Voice Acting and it granted me the capabilite to create voices according to the character. In radio and tv commercials i have used, besides english characterization, my spanish language as northern mexicans (norteños), central mexicans (chilangos) and a neutral accents for every spanish and english listeners.
My Voice Experience
I always had seen voice acting as magical, since i started watching cartoons and dubbed movies in Mexico i wondered how was that an adult person, could speak as a rabbit, a duck, a mouse and after that, talk with his or her "normal" voice again. As i realized that i started to mimic all the voices and accents that i could, even getting in trouble in school for making the voices of my friends that were not in the classroom when the teacher was taking roll call. The greatest thing of all this is that i discovered at very young age that i could get profit of making voices and that's when i started taking classes of acting and here i am, doing what i love the most.
My Training
I have a Communications Career in Mexico; after i graduated i took acting and voice over classes while i was working in a radio station. Right now i work as a producer/talent on air for Univision Radio.
My Studio Equipment
I have a studio equipped with Pro Tools where i produce ads, voice over, cartoon characterization and all kinds of audio work.
Additional Skills
I have acted in some short movies, protagonized a full length movie and also do some acting stuff for the internet.
