Voice Description

Overall, I'm a character actor at heart. If it's a celebrity, well known character, or something I've pulled out of nowhere to make a character, I will get into it, and stick with it to the point you'd swear it was a real person talking to you.

For certain things, such as, for example, an informational video, serious narration, or trailer narration, I can take it seriously and either slightly raise or deepen my voice based upon what the project calls for. But whatever the case, these jobs will generally tend to stay in my natural tone.

I also believe in the use of pitch and reverb to make a voice more distinct, and I've used this on myself in previous works to hilarious effects, so if a job calls for something that my own voice can't do, I'm all for doing digital alteration to give it a more unique spin...without affecting the quality of my acting. ^_~

My current slate of accents ranges from my natural tone (Northeastern American) to Standard English, French, American Southern, Brooklyn, Mexican, and Hindi, some of the latter mainly done for comical effect and not dramatic pieces.

I am also versed in Spanish, and because of my interest in Japanese animation and traditional Taekwondo, I can handle Japanese and Korean terminology/names/statements/etc.

My Voice Experience

My acting background consists of years of youth theater and a tenure at the Lee Strasberg School of Acting, and my upcoming personal website will be featuring more detailed information regarding my training for your reference.

While my practical experience comes from work done only on the amateur level, I've become well known within the American Anime Fandom for my professional-quality voiceover work, and for my character work from my 2005 fan film "Final Fantasy vs Kaiju Big Battel". From celebrity impersonations to my own unique character range, people are always impressed when they hear my work.

Currently, my first professional work has been for Howcast Media, where I did voiceover a series of instructional videos, and I look to acquire some more entry-level professional work before becoming fully unionized for any union jobs that may be available here.
