I have a background in theater and can do a variety of characters, my specialty being redneck/country.

My Voice Experience

Since 2006, I have done radio commercials for Great Wolf Lodge (Williamsburg, VA) and Ocean Breeze Fun Park (Virginia Beach, VA). I have also done various liners and promos for radio stations within the United States.

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as some graduate level work. I have taken acting classes and participated in live theater, as well as some TV spots. In the last two years, I have done voice work for several radio stations locally and elsewhere in the United States.

My Studio Equipment

My husband is the Operations Director of a cluster of radio stations near our home. Consequently, I have easy access to an ISDN line.

Additional Skills

In addition to my work in radio, I am also a professional counselor. Therefore, I am able to do a very believable empathetic/nurturing voice (i.e., for a Hospice center, a children's hospital, fertility clinic, etc.).

I am also a very competent writer and would be interested in writing commercials, liners, etc.
