My Voice Experience

Born in Québec city, native language French, studied both in French and English. After numerous unpaid jobs as a makebelieve commercial announcer in my own bathroom as a child, I finally got to hold a microphone at age 12 describing the Quebec's Carnaval parade live. That was the beginning...

Former Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Radio-Canada cultural reporter on major radio shows, French and English, I am now, located in Montreal, Canada where I run my own business as a professional narrator since 2005. My clients are in various businesses such as the automotive industry, eLearning, multimedia production and public institutions agencies of the Québec government.

My Studio Equipment

For simple in-home studio projects, I use the basic software called Audacity and professional audio equipment: an Audio technica AT2020 microphone, Roland monitor headphones RH-200S and Inspire 1394 Firewire computer recording system featuring 24bit/96K audio interface and a basic free software.

For projects requiring sound mixing abilities, I sollicit technical services in a professional studio.

Additional Skills

Over 10 years experience in customer service, first as an agent then as a trainer, mainly related to telecommunications and tourism.

For many years I have worked as a volunteer involved in simultanious translation from English to French in local and international events for a non profit organization.

Very artistic, I practiced various form of arts from modern dance to engraving. I am a movie goer.
