Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have a Parisian/French accent and although I speak English for over 30 years, I have never been able to get-rid of my French accent. I was told that it was better that way as many seem to rather love it.

My Voice Experience

I have worked at the Alliance Française in Manhattan for five years. I am now in business for myself and many of my students have followed me from there. My experience also included coaching actors (ei: Sarah Jessica Parker, for the last episodes of Sex and the City), opera singers to articulate the French lyrics to the music, etc...

My Training

Born and raised in Paris I came to the States in 1974 for the first time. I was an art dealer for many years and left New York and moved to California to raise my children. After a few years on the West Coast, I decided to return to New York where the action is. While in Ashland, OR, I returned to the university where I completed a Bachelor of Art. I went on getting a post graduate degree in special education which has been very valuable to me in the sense that I have learned the many different ways an individual can learn. It also taught me many ways to teach that will help children or adults to learn better. I am very out-going and since my return in NY, I have reconnected with the galleries and friends from the art business.

My Studio Equipment

I only benefit from my computer, Skype, Fax machine and basics. However, I am willing to seek advice in order to improve my chances to be part of this industry.

Additional Skills

As this is a new interest for me, I am flexible and willing to hear any suggestions made by the professionals. Once I commit to something, I am 100% involved and give the best of myself in whatever endeavour is ahead of me.
