Voice Description

I am very versatile. My normal speaking voice is quite clear and calming. However, because of my experience in the theatre and singing, I can change to almost anything. For narrations, I use a more warm tone. For commercials, I can be soft and sultry or frenetic and fun. I rely on a clear and professional voice for presentations.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am a native English speaker (midwest accent). 100% Fluent in Spanish, with dialects from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain and Cuba. In English I can do a New York/New Jersy accent or a hispanic accent. Other accents include southern US, and British. My favorite voice that I do is an older woman from New Jersey (think Linda Richman from SNL) I am a professional singer and can sing both in English, Spanish and Italian. I am a MezzoSoprano, but can easily sing an alto part, as my range is quite large. When singing, I can do great impressions of Ethel Merman, Audrey Hepburn and Cher.

My Voice Experience

My introduction to voice over work came several years ago while working for a film company in Mexico (Kinema Productions). As I was the only native English speaker, they needed someone to do a voice over for a Mexican actress, and so my start began. Ever since, I have been very interested in the industry and have been trying my hand at various jobs in the entertainment industry. I have done much local theatre work in Detroit and Mexico. I was a professional back-up singer in Mexico (Claudia Beckman agency). And of late, I am a vocal specialist for Cranbrook Theatre School in Bloomfield Hills, MI

Additional Skills

Although my career in voice overs is just starting, I know that I will be a success in short order. I am extremely professional and reliable. My knowledge of Spanish is a great assent in this time of growth in the Latino community in the United States. I have extensive knowledge of the Financial industry as well as the Medical industry. My degree is a B.S. in Exercise Science from Michigan State University. I have more than a decade of experience in the theatre having performing in over 65 live shows and 3 feature films. I have recently completed an extensive web-based training video for CAD.
